David against Goliath?
We have direct contact to the victims and know the details. It is indispensable to help now! Hundreds of millions of Euros have been donated, but the victims on the devastated island Koh Phi Phi still did not get adequate support until now. Moreover, it seems like economical interests are of more importance and human tragedies are ignored.

Why are we doing that?
Edwin Ball was deeply concerned about what happened and have had some friends, who lost their lives there. He knows the region Phuket very well and stayed at Koh Phi Phi for more than 15 years during the winter season. He also worked there as a diving guide. He became friends with the local people and the emigrated foreigners, who built up a livelihood there. Patricia Stach is a good friend of him sine 13 years, a professional social worker and just wanted to help in a way, so that the victims really get the help, they need.

What's the situation there now?
Through our visit in thailand in february 2005 and the daily personal contacts we know that a lot of people on Koh Phi Phi lost their entire families, relatives, children and parents and many have lost everything but the clothes they wore. A lot of people on this island are partially or not at all involved with tourism and earn their living by fishing. By losing their boat, they now also lost their income. There is no insurance. Now the gouvernment placed them on the mainland in special camps, which are totally inadequate and they don´t now if or when they can return to their home island.

Due to this
We are personally involved and we guarantee that these people will be helped without any delay. Based on an aid plan, the donations will be handed over personally by ourself. You may read reports about the status of our support and other information on this website, which will be constantly updated.

Our association is controlled by Advocate Zürn from Dinkelsbühl as a trustee and in turn under lawful supervision. So any misuse of the donations can be identified. You can be sure that your donations will arrive in thailand. Please help, so that we may help!
